Creating Thoughtful Experiences
Everything starts with an idea. Ideas are the most fundamental currency in this business. There are many skilled technicians in the design world. I aim to be more than a technician.
My early career experience was in print and identity development. I designed logos, directed photo shoots, and developed award-winning ad campaigns. Print was where I learned the foundations of design and today I still work in print from time to time.
But the Web has come calling. I love to create for the Web — it is my real passion. I’m fascinated by its ever-evolving nature, its highly technical quality, and its potential for growth and development. Fueled by this drive, I taught myself HTML and CSS, and I am now working on JavaScript.
Websites are contradictory in nature — intangible objects which the user must touch. The Web occupies a unique place between the active experience of reading a book and the passive experience of watching a video. This is why I like it so much. There exists a tremendous capability for communicating in ways unimaginable even a generation ago.
This is why the ideas behind the scenes need to be carefully considered. A mistake in planning can become two mistakes in execution leading to unnecessary revisions.
I’d like to create ideas for you.
